Night Auditor/Overnight Valet Attendant

The Bidwell Hotel and High Horse Restaurant + Bar are seeking a Night Auditor/Overnight Valet Attendant to provide exceptional service to our guests and support to our associates. As a member of our team, you will be part of Sage Hospitality Group, a company that passionately strives to create excellence in everything we do.
Job OverviewThis hybrid position will perform Night Auditor duties as well as Overnight Valet Attendant duties. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing, balancing, and reporting on various areas of the hotel, including food and beverage outlets, rooms, and front desk. You will also respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate and timely information.
As a Valet Attendant, you will meet and greet guests, assist with luggage, and provide valet services. You will also respond to guest questions and issues regarding transportation, hotel services, and local events.
ResponsibilitiesNight Auditor:
- Audit, balance, and report on all food and beverage outlets, including cash and credit operations.
- Audit, balance, and post front desk operations, including room charges, phone calls, and zero balance folios.
- Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for daily reports.
- Balance and close all bank ticket codes daily.
- Run night audit final after ensuring all revenues are in balance nightly.
Valet Attendant:
- Meet and greet guests in all forms of transportation arriving at the hotel.
- Assist guests with retrieving their luggage from vehicles.
- Point out existing vehicle damage on key tags.
- Assist Doorman in escorting guests and luggage into the lobby for registration.
- Explain valet parking procedures and fees.
- Park vehicles securely and mark key tags with location, guest name, license plate number, and type of auto.
We are seeking a candidate with a high school education or equivalent experience. Accounting background is preferred, but not required. Driving or valet experience is also preferred.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to operate a personal computer, cash register, and calculator, and have moderate hearing and excellent vision.
