Lead Banquet Team at Kimpton Brice Hotel

Join our team as a Banquet Captain at the Kimpton Brice Hotel, where you will be responsible for leading the banquet team in providing exceptional service to our guests. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all banquet functions are executed flawlessly, from setup to breakdown.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify banquet event orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct room inspections to ensure that all banquet directions are followed.
  • Communicate with group representatives to ensure a smooth event.
  • Coordinate with banquet staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Operate as a banquet server, setting up, greeting, and serving guests.
  • Inspect banquet areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Recap banquet checks and turn in to Night Audit.
  • Be knowledgeable about menu items and able to explain ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide information and services to hotel management and guests.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security, and safety programs.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
