Job Summary:

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of special events, weddings, dinners, and corporate meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee event setup and execution, ensuring the team adheres to the highest standards of service and professionalism.
  • Lead and supervise banquet staff to ensure adequate teamwork and exceptional guest service.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and banquet team.
  • Partner with the brand team to ensure brand, service, and culture standards are met and maintained.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of event details to facilitate seamless event execution and assist with setup and breakdown of events, ensuring they are in accordance with event specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service quality.

Requirements:

  • A hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Passionate about food and beverage and elevated service, with advanced knowledge of F&B operations, ideally within luxury and/or fine dining environments.
  • Ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
  • Familiarity with banquet setup, service techniques, and industry best practices.
