Lead Operations Specialist

Position: Team Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Champion daily continuous improvement initiatives and actively engage in APSYS workouts and events.
  • Lead the implementation of Lean methodologies across all departments, including EHS, Quality, and Productivity.
  • Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and utilization targets are met.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, review, and maintain Standard Work documentation for the area.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and staff to prioritize operational needs.
  • Facilitate cross-training and Lean training programs.
  • Coordinate with other leaders to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Act as a proactive team member focused on achieving business objectives while fostering a safe work environment.
  • Lead by example and provide constructive feedback to team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with computer systems and basic knowledge of SAP, Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Respected by peers and management.
  • Demonstrated capability to drive organizational change.
  • Adaptable and open to change.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
  • Self-motivated with a high energy level.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Commitment to team objectives.
  • Excellent attendance, performance, and safety record.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
