Position: Team Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Champion daily continuous improvement initiatives and actively engage in APSYS activities and events.
  • Lead the implementation of Lean methodologies across all departments, including EHS, Quality, and Productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Utilization targets.
  • Identify and address problems, creating solutions for any abnormalities.
  • Develop, review, and enforce Standard Work procedures for the area.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and staff to prioritize operational needs.
  • Facilitate cross-training and Lean training sessions.
  • Partner with fellow leaders to ensure optimal staffing levels on a daily basis.
  • Function as an effective team member, dedicated to achieving business objectives while fostering a safe work environment and culture.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities by setting a positive example for the team.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in computer applications, with a basic understanding of SAP, Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Respected by peers and leadership.
