Job Overview

Trident Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Space Electronic Systems sector. This role will involve working closely with Operations engineers to support the build and delivery of Space Flight products.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing engineering process support to the manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies for military and space applications. Your expertise will be crucial in driving defect reduction, root cause activities, and daily interaction with technicians and operators.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Experience in Space Flight industries and regulated/controlled manufacturing environments is preferred.

This role offers an estimated salary of $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides engineering process support to the manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies.
  • Conducts various data analysis for capacity, throughput, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Recommends and implements process improvements, lean manufacturing techniques, and process flows to execute both production and development programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience in Space Flight industries and regulated/controlled manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of root cause and corrective action methodology.
