About the Position

Are you a highly skilled digital signal processing engineer seeking a challenging role that leverages your expertise in satellite communications?

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at Rincon Research Corporation, an employee-owned company innovating digital signal processing solutions for national security.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in research, design, and development of digital signal processing and satellite communications systems deployed on various platforms. You will participate in all phases of product development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.

About the Job

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom digital signal processing solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system architecture.
  • Analyze and improve existing software code bases to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate technical information effectively through written reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and develop new products/processes that drive business results.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Knowledge of software design principles, industry best practices, and design trends.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or CUDA.
  • Familiarity with GitLab, GitHub, or other revision control systems, and agile development practices.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
