Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Trident Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering process support to the manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies for military and space applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Drive defect reduction, root cause activities, and daily interaction with technicians and operators to optimize production processes.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct various data analysis for capacity, throughput, and other relevant performance indicators to inform decision-making.
  • Design Review: Review new designs for manufacturability and ensure design compliance with standards and procedures to provide a consistent manufacturing process.
  • Problem-Solving: Generate, investigate, and document non-conformances, recommend disposition, and supply rework instructions as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in Space Flight industries.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Root cause and corrective action methodology knowledge and experience.
    • Experience with Configuration Management processes.
    • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring schedules are defined and met.
    • Prioritize work appropriately to meet commitments.
    • Ability to communicate with varying levels of technical expertise to ensure requirements are clear and met.
    Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
