Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physicals according to specific requirements established by individual corporations and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with clinical, technical, clerical, administrative, and support staff to facilitate patient care and progress.
  • Administer medications according to department policy and as ordered by physicians.
  • Provide holistic nursing care to adult patients, demonstrating population-specific competencies and cultural sensitivity.
  • Work independently, using good judgment and reaching out to physicians or nurse supervisors as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • License as LPN in Georgia required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in an occupational health setting preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under stress, with frequent intense concentration and attention to detail.
Physical Demands

The LPN will be required to stand for long periods, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, and walk for long periods. Lifting and positioning of heavy patients, pushing/pulling, and lifting heavy equipment/supplies up to 50 pounds will also be required.

Sensory Demands

The LPN will be required to use sight to observe patient symptoms, auditory to hear patients, tactile to feel patient symptoms, and olfactory to smell disease-specific smells.
