Job Summary:

The Radiology Manager position at Methodist Health System is a critical role that requires a strong leader to oversee the daily operations of our radiology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing staff, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide vision and direction for the radiology department, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and develop a team of radiology professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the radiology department, including budget management, productivity, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among staff, physicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a culture of quality and safety within the department.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in radiology, including administrative and leadership roles.
  • Credentials: Approved training program in imaging, CPR license, TDH license, and recognized radiology credentials (ARRT or NMTCB, ARDMS, etc.).
  • Skills and Abilities: Effective organizational and time management skills, positive role model for staff and students, and ability to use value management techniques for improvement and cost savings.
