Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Technologist Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of imaging services in the Radiology department. This includes ensuring timely and accurate completion of exams, maintaining adequate staffing levels, and providing excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Radiology department, including scheduling, staffing, and supply management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve department efficiency and quality of care.
  • Provide training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement department goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork among staff members, physicians, and other departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of department policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
