Job Title: Resident Engineer - Highway and Bridge Projects

Job Summary:
Boswell Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our team. As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of highway and bridge projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
• Perform on-site inspections of highway and bridge projects to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure that contractors are operating in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Prepare and submit daily Resident Engineer reports to the project manager.
• Prepare as-built drawings and assemble data for the Field Engineer to utilize when making changes to the project.
• Ensure general compliance with NJ Turnpike Authority and NJDOT standards and specifications.
• Perform a combination of both office and field duties.
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, current NJ Professional Engineer License a plus.
• Ten (10+) years of experience as a Resident Engineer on bridges and highway projects.
• Valid NICET Certification IV or P.E. is required.
• Ability to read and understand plans/specifications and properly document collected data.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
• NJ Turnpike Authority experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
