About the Role:

Invo Healthcare, a leading provider of school-based mental health and special education services, is seeking a School Psychologist to join our innovative team in Philadelphia, PA. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring students have access to the services they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for special education referrals, utilizing various assessment tools to identify cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and provide detailed, actionable reports based on assessment data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure a thorough evaluation process and effective intervention strategies.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to discuss findings and develop individualized education plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Ensure compliance with special education regulations and submit timely reports, maintaining accurate and confidential records.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited program in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate as a School Psychologist.
  • Two years of experience in child psychology, with a strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency with technology for assessments and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move around the school and handle materials as needed.
