Job Summary:

The Behavioral Consultant/Mobile Therapist will provide behavioral intervention consultation services to the treatment team for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. This role requires collaboration with the interagency team to design and implement individualized behavioral modification intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct client assessments within 15 days of service initiation.
  2. Observe children in school, community, or home settings to inform intervention plan development.
  3. Develop and implement intervention plans, instructing treatment team members on their roles and responsibilities.
  4. Collaborate with the interagency team to ensure school, home, and community plans complement each other.
  5. Provide consultation to the treatment team when problems arise in plan implementation.
  6. Participate in regular, documented monthly peer reviews with a licensed psychologist.
  7. Revise intervention plans as needed, adhering to established paperwork guidelines and CASSP principles.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults, with a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
  • Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
  • Individuals providing ABA services through behavior consultation must meet one of the following:
  1. A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis, with a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
  2. Licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services, with a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved.
