About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to our patients.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide Patient Care: Engage with patients to understand their medication needs and provide empathetic guidance on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, verification, and management, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow, implement efficient processes, and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Clinical Services: Offer a range of clinical services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services, to enhance patient health and well-being.
  • Communication and Training: Effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to ensure seamless care coordination and training.


Requirements:


  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacist degree from an accredited institution, and current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, with a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certifications and Training: Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
