Position Overview

The Support Services Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure the health, safety, and personal growth of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to organizational policies and contribute to individualized plans that foster community integration and emotional development.
  • Monitor and support the well-being of clients in both residential and community settings.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with appropriate registration and insurance.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a Personal Support License (PSL).
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration are advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is preferred, though we are willing to train suitable candidates.
