Research Internship Opportunity

Microsoft Corporation is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Systems Research Group as Research Interns. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work alongside world-class researchers and engineers, advancing the state of the art in distributed systems and operating systems.

Responsibilities

As a Research Intern, you will be responsible for conducting research and development in various areas of systems, including data center operating systems, serverless infrastructure, machine learning serving infrastructure, and storage systems. You will work closely with our team of researchers and engineers to design, implement, and evaluate new systems and technologies.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in computer science or a related STEM field. You should have a strong background in systems programming and experience with distributed systems and operating systems. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
