Position Overview:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Breast Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional imaging services. This position involves working alongside a diverse group of professionals to ensure the highest standards in imaging modalities, including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.

The primary responsibility of the Breast Imaging Specialist is to execute high-quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists in specialized interventions aimed at the early detection of breast health issues.


Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program in compliance with MQSA standards
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (M)
  • Certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services
Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred

Or ARRT (R); the candidate must obtain ARRT (M) certification within one year of completing orientation.
