Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Traveling Sonographer in Richardson, Texas. As a Medical Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various equipment, including ultrasound machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound machines and other equipment
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current ARDMS certification in Sonography
  • 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or Sonographer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
