The Echo Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in the healthcare team, focusing on advanced echocardiographic techniques to support patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, CCI, RDCS
Job Specifications
  • Position: Echo Tech | 4x10 DAYS
  • Contract Duration: 8 weeks
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted
  • Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 Year

Work Environment

The role involves working in various settings including:

  • Adult Acute Care
  • Adult Outpatient
  • Emergency Room
  • Intensive Care Unit
Echocardiographic Skills Required

Proficiency in the following areas is essential:

  • 2-D Echo
  • 3-D Echo
  • Bubble Study
  • Color Doppler
  • Imaging with Contrast Agents
  • Pharmacologic Stress Echo
  • Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
  • Treadmill Stress Echo
Equipment Familiarity

Experience with the following equipment is necessary:

  • GE
  • Hitachi
  • PACS
  • Philips
  • Siemens
  • SonoSite
  • Toshiba
Specialized Procedures

Knowledge in the following procedures is required:

  • Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
  • Stress Echo
Patient Care Focus

The technician will be responsible for all cardiac-related diagnoses.

Job Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 Year
Schedule Information
  • Shift: Echo Tech | 4x10 DAYS
  • On-Call Duties: Primarily on weekends after shift hours (around 4 PM to 7 AM the following morning)
