We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist at Redwood Animal Hospital. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling appointments and communicating with our veterinary team.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pet records, including medical history and referral documentation.
  • Assist clients with prescription items, invoices, and scheduling future appointments.
  • Utilize our hospital's computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.
  • Manage the financial needs of the hospital by maintaining accurate balances and following cash and credit card handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and teammates.
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
  • Flexible schedule including some weekend and vacation shifts.
  • Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
