Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Law Enforcement Officer to join our team at Vets Hired. As a Public Safety Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, and providing emergency response services to our community.
Key Responsibilities
• Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed.
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community members to build trust and promote public safety.
Requirements
• Must hold an active TCOLE peace officer license.
• Must have an Intermediate Peace Officer Proficiency Certification or higher.
• In lieu of an Intermediate, all TCOLE intermediate coursework completed and
- 1200+ TCOLE training hours or
- an associate degree.
• Must have a valid Class C Texas Driver License.
