Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute tailored education plans (IEPs) for students with unique learning requirements.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that caters to the individual needs of each student.
  • Provide instruction in essential academic subjects and life skills, modifying teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Work collaboratively with general education instructors, support personnel, and families to promote student achievement.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
  • Oversee classroom behavior and implement behavioral intervention strategies when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
