Electrical Services Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our Specialized Field Services department at Qualus. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the electrical services market.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with operations, marketing, and sales leadership to implement a tactical marketing plan that increases revenues and profits.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue target strategic markets and clients.
- Penetrate markets with product/service offerings, working closely with leadership and sales teams.
- Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects.
- Support sales function initiatives by providing client relationship support and assisting with sales calls to drive business.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities, plan, and execute growth strategies.
- Oversee the negotiation of contracts process in collaboration with operations and legal.
- Perform market research and analysis to evaluate operational issues and determine the organization's competitiveness with the latest industry trends.
- Support the proposal process and ensure successful completion and submission to clients.
- Monitor the external and internal environment to support the development of new market segments.
- Support the development of marketing campaigns for new products and services.
- Assist in developing an evaluation process to gain feedback from clients.
- Expertise in business development, sales, or marketing within the electrical services market, including maintenance, testing, engineering, commissioning of electrical apparatus and protection and control equipment.
- Thorough understanding of electrical power systems and associated equipment.
- Strong background in business development with a working knowledge of power systems.
- Experience understanding customer needs and business drivers and using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies.
- Strong leadership abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Able to manage time and prioritize workload independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively in and across teams, with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Cultivates new sales opportunities through effective competitive and market analysis.
- Fosters and builds strong working relationships.
- Strategic planning and tactical implementation skills.
