Sales Operations Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Analyst to join our team in Draper, Utah. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Job DescriptionThe Sales Operations Analyst will play a key role in managing the success of the Sales Development team through continued review of sales and prospecting data, understanding total addressable market, ideal customer profiles, and proper usage of NEOGOV's technology stack, focusing heavily on the Outreach Sales Engagement platform.
This 'in-office' role involves identifying territory trends, key accounts, and buyers with a high likelihood of conversion, and owning the process of loading prospects into Outreach for NEOGOV's entire 50+ person Sales Development team. Additional Revenue Operations data update responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
- Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of NEOGOV's Sales Development process, including account-based prospecting and multi-threading techniques by persona.
- Continually monitor activity data across a 50+ sales development team, keeping Sales Development leadership informed on statistical trends and best practices.
- Manually add new prospects and accounts daily into product and persona-specific sequences for each Sales Development team member, based on call and appointment setting goals.
- Work with the Revenue Operations team closely, verifying Sales Engagement (Outreach) and CRM (Salesforce) technology is being leveraged to its fullest potential.
- Build and maintain product and persona-specific Outreach sequences and messaging based on a combination of data and feedback from the leadership team, Revenue Operations team, and sales development team members.
- Own sales engagement platform (Outreach) data analysis on an ongoing basis, focusing on opportunities for modification of activity steps, duration, and customer messaging.
- Work with the leadership team to implement prospecting strategy changes, including technology modifications and individual process improvements.
- Use Salesforce ETL tools to insert/update/delete data in Salesforce as per requirement.
- Work with 3rd-party tools like Zoominfo, Pursuit, and offshore teams to maintain Data Hygiene and keep the database duplicate-free.
- Train Sales Development representatives on Outreach setup, functionality, reporting, and best practices.
- Responsible for the administration of sales tools, including the Outreach Sales Engagement platform.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A deep understanding of the Outreach platform, including the ability to identify activity measurements leading to high-converting prospecting opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, cross-departmental relations, and organizational skills.
- Experience in explaining complex sales and prospecting processes to internal team members in a way that's clear and compelling.
- Able to work cohesively in a close team environment.
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite, Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or other like applications.
- Extremely detailed-oriented with the ability to maintain processes and overcome obstacles while adhering to tight deadlines.
