Avionics Test Engineer III

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Avionics Test Engineer III, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans for avionics systems
  • Analyze test data to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics systems into spacecraft
  • Perform environmental and EMI testing to ensure system reliability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, aerospace engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in hardware development, integration, and testing
  • 2+ years of experience in electronics testing and validation
  • Practical understanding of analog and digital electronics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810, and/or MIL-STD-461F
  • Familiarity with sensors and microcontrollers
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and Linux
