About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our team at Down to Earth. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a broad commercial landscape portfolio within a designated territory. Your primary focus will be on developing strong relationships with our client base, selling ancillary services to meet their needs, and successfully managing your operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to ensure client expectations are being met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Concern Resolution: Identify and resolve customer concerns with a high sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Value-Added Proposals: Present value-added enhancement proposals to customers to increase revenue and improve client satisfaction.
  • Operations Team Supervision: Supervise the operations team that supports the client portfolio, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
  • Community Building: Successfully establish a sense of community and inclusivity among your team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Safety Culture: Actively drive the Down to Earth safety culture, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Talent Development: Proactively identify, hire, retain, and develop top talent to ensure the success of the team and the company.
  • Leadership Behaviors: Exemplify the leadership behaviors that positively promote the Down to Earth brand, including integrity, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work outside during the summer months in Florida.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and willing to adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Driver's License: Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to pass an MVR check.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Account Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of account management experience in a service industry.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Bilingual: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Commercial Landscape Experience: Commercial landscape experience in the Florida market.
