About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality gas turbine rotors meets our stringent standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to resolve production issues and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Work with design engineering to resolve questions and product deviations, and review specifications to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
  • Develop and deliver technical information documents, estimates, and reports to support manufacturing activities.
  • Partner with Service Engineering to provide inspection and repair reports for customers, and identify opportunities for improving manufacturing capability and productivity.
  • Design, commission, and qualify custom tools, jigs, and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
  • Support engineering design changes and participate in the change management process for new products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical assembly and tensioning.
  • Working knowledge of PC applications, MS Office, and CAD/NX software.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment and exposure to lean concepts, MRP systems, and quality control systems.
  • Working knowledge of gas turbine components and experience in design, manufacture, service, or repair is a must.
