MARKETING MANAGER @ ACDI

We are in search of a dynamic professional to spearhead our creative marketing team at ACDI. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives aimed at driving sales, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering company culture through impactful content. As a successful candidate, you will guide our marketing department by assessing and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing activities, communicating marketing objectives to stakeholders, and enhancing awareness and positioning for our company’s brands. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our sales and business development teams to formulate strategies that will optimize sales and expand our market presence. You will also manage the organization of company conferences, trade shows, and significant events.

Key Responsibilities of ACDI's Marketing Manager:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to meet marketing objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify target demographics, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage and oversee marketing budgets effectively.
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns, including advertising, social media, public relations, and email outreach.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing campaign performance to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, setting a strong example.
  • Stay informed on current marketing trends and best practices.
  • Assist in prioritizing and delegating incoming project requests according to timelines.
  • Direct and execute the organization’s advertising and promotional efforts.
  • Participate in various marketing logistics, including trade show or event production, managing booth schedules, shipping, collateral coordination, and premium ordering.
  • Continuously enhance ACDI's websites and social media channels.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and staff trade shows as necessary.
  • Oversee and approve all departmental expenditures and ensure proper documentation is provided to accounting.
  • Support internal events that promote ACDI's brand and reinforce our company culture, which is vital to the ACDI family.
  • Regularly communicate updates, challenges, and growth opportunities regarding ACDI's projects and upcoming events.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related objectives as needed.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of and comply with all ACDI policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture while upholding ACDI's mission, vision, and core values.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, or a related communications field, with a minimum of 5+ years of marketing management experience, including at least 1 year in the print management sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google/Microsoft suites is required.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and Zoho CRM applications is advantageous.
  • Experience in meeting strict deadlines or project timelines is essential.
  • Creative content development, brand marketing, and writing experience are preferred.
  • Strong professional communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal), exceptional organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, technical aptitude, project management capabilities, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience handling sensitive company or team information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent ability to think proactively, anticipate needs, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during trade shows.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% annually.
  • May be required to provide a passport or other identification for international travel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position includes supervisory duties.
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff within the department.
  • Oversee daily departmental workflow.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Manage disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy.
Work Environment:
  • Moderate noise level in a collaborative office environment at ACDI headquarters.
  • Fast-paced and highly positive atmosphere.
  • Employees may need to ensure adequate internet services, mobile services, and devices for continuous business communication.
