Nurse Care Coordinator

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Washington Regional Medical Center is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the total nursing care of assigned patients. This position reports to the Unit Manager and Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments using evidence-based tools.
- Provide nursing care according to plan, utilizing clinical practice skills in a competent and safe manner.
- Monitor patient care and report changes in condition to appropriate providers.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records through complete and timely documentation.
- Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes, collaborating with the patient and healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Active Arkansas RN license and CPR certification; ACLS certification required within 90 days.
- New graduate nurses and experienced professionals encouraged to apply.
Work Environment: The nurse will spend 80% of their time walking/standing, pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 lbs. They will spend 20% sitting while performing tasks in a standard office environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and radiation is possible.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
