Key Responsibilities

As a Room Attendant at Kimpton, your primary duty will be to maintain the cleanliness of guest accommodations and shared spaces while delivering exceptional service to our patrons. You will serve as an ambassador for the hotel, crafting memorable experiences and building rapport with guests to encourage their return.

Your specific duties will include:

Daily cleaning, dusting, polishing, and servicing of guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards. Changing bed linens and restocking guest room supplies, including emptying wastebaskets and rearranging furnishings. Providing necessary linens and amenities to guests based on the established guest room guidelines. Ensuring rooms are left in a uniform arrangement as specified by the Executive Housekeeper and securing the room. Reporting any damages, hazards, repairs, or suspicious individuals in your assigned areas. Returning found items from guest rooms, hallways, or service areas to the Housekeeping department, logging details of the item. Cleaning all corridors and service areas, responding to requests from the Housekeeping management team. Maintaining security of pass keys and ensuring they are returned at the end of each shift as per hotel protocols. Restocking the cart at the end of your shift and organizing the linen closet for the following day. Reporting any unusual circumstances, such as no luggage in a stay-over room or guests smoking in rooms, to the on-duty supervisor. Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred. At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills and keen intuition. A genuine concern for the safety and security of guests.
