Position Overview

Lodging Dynamics is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest accommodations.

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by performing the following duties:

  • Change linens, make beds, and vacuum guest rooms during both stays and check-outs.
  • Dust all surfaces in the guest room, including tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air conditioning units, and window ledges.
  • Ensure all mirrors are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Notify the front desk or housekeeping supervisor upon completion of room servicing to facilitate room availability for new guests.
  • Report any rooms that cannot be serviced within the designated time frame to the supervisor.
  • Communicate any repairs needed for unsafe conditions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Respond efficiently to requests from guests, supervisors, or management.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy linen cart and supply area according to departmental standards.
  • Safeguard the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued daily.
  • Report lost and found items to the supervisor.
  • Replace light bulbs as necessary.
  • Transport waste and trash to designated disposal areas.
  • Restock supplies such as drinking glasses, writing materials, bathroom essentials, and linens.
  • Clean guest rooms following specific brand and company standards for time management.
  • Adhere to team cleaning procedures and self-inspection protocols.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries in a courteous manner, ensuring to follow up on any complaints or requests to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Keep the maid station organized and clean, and assist in making rollaway beds.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Note: Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors or management.
