About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients in their homes, using a variety of techniques and modalities to promote healing and recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, and communicate with patients and their families to ensure they are informed and engaged in the treatment process.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a home-based setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
