Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide inpatient and outpatient services to young patients with diverse medical, oncologic, neurologic, orthopedic, and developmental-related conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric physical therapy and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with standards of practice, demonstrating progression of treatment plans and implementation of appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, family, and other members of the healthcare team relative to patient treatment and progress.
- Use unscheduled time to flex to other work areas for patient treatment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, rounds, and peer reviews.
- Participate in program development and continuing education programs to maintain professional competency.
- At least three years of physical therapy job-related experience.
- Inpatient pediatric acute care experience preferred.
- License to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas.
- Current CPR/BLS certification with the American Heart Association of Healthcare Providers.
