Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on physical therapy techniques and promote adherence to treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • One year of experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably in a home health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, sitting, and walking.
