Job Title: Operational Manager - Spanish Language Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to lead our dynamic team in the production of granite and cabinet countertops at our facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional skilled in strategic planning, team management, and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth production processes for granite and cabinet countertops.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team to achieve optimal performance, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Create and implement operational strategies, including methods for process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and prepare operational reports, setting measurable goals and KPIs.
  • Manage budgeting and cost control to optimize resource allocation and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee supply chain management to ensure materials are sourced efficiently, and inventory levels are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across the operation.
  • Identify and solve operational challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align operational goals with overall company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Operational Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the granite, countertop, or construction industry.
  • People Development & Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and motivate staff to reach their full potential.
  • Strategic Planning: Strong skills in planning, budgeting, and executing operational strategies.
  • Performance Evaluations: Develop performance review systems to assess employee progress, set goals, and identify opportunities for advancement or further training.
  • Talent Management: Work with HR to develop talent pipelines, succession planning, and employee retention strategies.
  • Culture Building: Foster a company culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and employee engagement. Develop initiatives that support employee well-being and motivation.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Demonstrated experience in identifying issues and developing solutions.
  • Team Management: Experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
  • Compliance & Safety: Knowledge of regulatory standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Supply Chain & Logistics: Ability to manage and improve supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in operational software and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
