Position Title: Clinical Administrator

Position Overview:

The Clinical Administrator at NOVA MEDICAL SERVICES will be responsible for managing both the administrative and clinical operations of a diverse physician group. This role is crucial in ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered while maintaining efficient operational practices within the medical facility. The Clinical Administrator will lead clinical activities, oversee patient interactions, manage personnel, and handle facility operations, as well as spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all clinical and administrative functions to uphold exceptional patient care standards.
  • Facilitate specialty service care through staff coordination (including admissions and prior authorizations).
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop, implement, and assess patient care strategies.
  • Address and resolve patient and family inquiries to ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance assessment of clinical personnel.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship, fostering professional growth among staff.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards among all team members.
  • Supervise daily clinic operations to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Manage financial resources, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure clinic profitability.
  • Establish and uphold operational policies and procedures.
  • Lead initiatives for the expansion and enhancement of clinical services and facilities.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.
  • Promote positive relationships between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination of care among all involved parties.
  • Advocate for patient needs, ensuring access to appropriate services and support.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to uphold care standards.
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in healthcare administration and clinical management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or administrative capacity.
  • Experience in a multispecialty clinic or comparable healthcare environment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability in managing budgets, operations, and personnel effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
