Accountable for delivering high-quality, accessible, and comprehensive support to the organization's provider network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and nurtures positive relationships with providers through regular in-person and/or virtual engagements, effectively communicating administrative and programmatic updates, and facilitating education while resolving provider concerns.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on provider-related issues that influence satisfaction and network retention; investigates, analyzes, and coordinates swift resolutions to complex provider challenges and appeals through direct interactions with providers and internal partners.
  • Collaborates with a team of internal partners to prioritize issues and submit necessary work requests.
  • Typically manages a designated portfolio of providers within a specific group.
  • Facilitates Joint Operation Committees (JOC) with provider groups, leading discussions on issues and changes.
  • May support Annual Provider Satisfaction Surveys, oversee corrective action plan implementation, and address educational needs, contract inquiries, and complex claims issues.
  • Oversees communication processes regarding administrative and medical policies, reimbursement, and provider utilization trends.
  • Engages in proactive outreach to enhance understanding of managed care policies and various initiatives.
  • Participates in external Provider Townhalls/Seminars and attends relevant State Association conferences.
  • Identifies and reports on provider utilization trends that directly affect service quality.
  • Investigates issues that may influence future provider contract negotiations or threaten network retention.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, including 2 years in a healthcare or provider setting; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.
  • Willingness to travel to various work sites as necessary.
