About the Role

Cone Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow physician instructions to capture accurate images of patients' bodies
  • Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure understanding of procedures
  • Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures for diagnostic imaging services
  • Maintain accurate patient records and facilitate seamless communication among healthcare providers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program
  • ARRT (R) certification and BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare
Work Environment

This full-time position is based at Cone Health MedCenter Asheboro, with a 40-hour workweek and Monday-Thursday schedule from 10am to 8:30pm. On-call requirements are not applicable for this role.
