Position Overview:
As a key member of the imaging team at Randolph Hospital, the MRI Technologist operates under the guidance of the Site MRI Manager, adhering to established protocols and procedures set forth by the hospital's Radiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of MRI procedures that necessitate independent judgment and technical expertise.
- Ensure the accurate operation of MRI equipment for diagnostic imaging of various anatomical regions.
- Contribute to the training and development of new MRI technologists, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of current MRI pulsing protocols and equipment maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and healthcare staff.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that include prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
Experience:
- A minimum of six months to one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred, with a focus on MRI and CT modalities.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
This role demands a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to exercise sound judgment in all imaging procedures, fostering a safe and efficient environment for patient care.
