Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience and a strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a crew of electricians and oversee the installation, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials/equipment.
  • Review plans and layouts provided by the Project Manager and identify and communicate conflicts in construction progress.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress and controlling project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changes.
  • Generate weekly and monthly material requests and attend job site meetings with General Contractors when needed.
  • Maintain daily logs and other paperwork required by the General Contractor and use an iPad to document daily progress on a project.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment and comprehend and practice safe work procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong industrial electrical background and 2 years of prior industrial electrical supervision experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
  • Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times and demonstrate necessary computer and keyboard skills.
  • Ability to manage customer and company specific information and documentation in an organized manner and maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Must be an effective and professional communicator, both written and verbally.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
  • Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Constantly move on feet and make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels of the building.

  • 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday.
Experience
  • Industrial Electrical Supervision: 2 years (Required).
