Job Summary

The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse III to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of effective nursing care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on abuse and neglect investigations, as well as conduct reviews of medical records for unanticipated deaths and attempted suicides.
  • Develop and implement person-centered nursing plans of care, evaluating clinical services and providing technical assistance to providers as needed.
  • Review data trends and ensure corrective action is taken through observations, surveys, and audits.
Requirements
  • At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse or a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse or a Master's degree or higher in Nursing.
  • Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
