- Steer clear of aggressive sales tactics.
- Optimize sales opportunities with each customer interaction.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in the western wear market.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Be well-versed in company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on promotional sales and pricing.
- Assist in stocking merchandise and tidying the store as required.
- Arrive at work punctually and well-groomed.
- Exercise vigilance regarding store security at all times.
- Ensure all products are accurately scanned, correctly placed, and neatly presented. Associates in the footwear department should consistently check for mismatched items.
- Assist customers with product exchanges.
- Provide informed responses to customer inquiries regarding fit, promotions, pricing, craftsmanship, and inventory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with supervisors to understand necessary actions to achieve company goals (e.g., ADS / UPT's / Company or Vendor contests).
- Ability to lift or lower objects regularly throughout the shift.
- Capability to comprehend basic instructions.
- Ability to interpret various documents.
- Capacity to apply abstract principles to a variety of complex tasks.
- Ability to understand the meanings of words and respond effectively.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must remain alert during assigned work hours.
