Electromagnetics Researcher Intern

RTX is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electromagnetics Researcher Intern to join our team at the RTX Technology Research Center. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modeling, prototyping, and testing active and passive RF circuits
- Electromagnetics and multi-physics modeling
- Utilizing modeling tools and testing equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
- Providing support for technical reports and presentations
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant coursework on electromagnetics and RF circuit design
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with RF circuit and electromagnetics design tools such as Keysight ADS, HFSS, Comsol
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with the RF/microwave test equipment including network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, oscilloscopes
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of science and engineering principles, experience with relevant commercial design tools and testing equipment
- RFIC, MMIC circuit design
- RF metamaterials
- Computational electromagnetics
- Programming skills including MATLAB, python, GPU-programming etc.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $37,000 - $82,000
