We are in search of a vibrant and motivated Part-Time Seasonal Portable Audio Engagement Specialist. Position Summary

Our Seasonal Portable Audio Specialist will represent our esteemed client, Sony, and their highly regarded line of portable speakers for a special promotional initiative. Your goal? To create unforgettable retail experiences, strengthen brand loyalty, and transform casual listeners into devoted Sony audio fans. In this role, you will act as a consultative authority within a designated retail location, introducing customers to the Sony brand. You will ensure effective customer interactions through engaging tactics, showcasing unique product features, and offering expert advice and purchasing recommendations tailored to individual customer needs. Your enthusiasm, expertise, and passion will empower customers to make informed decisions, ensuring they leave with the perfect Sony product to enhance their audio experience.

Schedule & Location

  • 20 hours per week
  • Fridays: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Saturdays & Sundays: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • This is a temporary short-term program.

What We Provide

  • The compensation range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Share your enthusiasm for the Sony brand with store associates and customers.
  • Facilitate engaging customer interactions through effective engagement strategies, assisted selling techniques, and product demonstrations.
  • Proactively address customer objections to finalize sales.
  • Build strong relationships and rapport with store personnel.
  • Educate and train store staff to confidently communicate Sony information.
  • Ensure products are well-merchandised, stocked, displayed, and functional.
  • Maintain business communication with management through occasional calls, web meetings, emails, and/or texts.
  • Complete feedback surveys and provide pictures after each shift.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish is required.
  • Previous experience in retail, sales, and/or direct customer support.
  • Demonstrated passion for audio and music.
  • High energy with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation for commuting.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work the required Friday through Sunday schedule.
  • Access to a smart device for reporting purposes.
