Job Overview

GROUP DESCRIPTION: Jefferies Global Healthcare Group offers a comprehensive range of advisory and capital market services to clients in various sectors, including biotechnology, healthcare services, medical technology, and pharmaceuticals. Our Healthcare Group comprises a dedicated team of around 80 bankers who focus on delivering exceptional services to clients across North and South America, Europe, and Asia. We are currently seeking skilled Analysts to join our New York office.

POSITION: We are actively searching for experienced Analysts to support our Global Healthcare Group in New York.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage in the execution of equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, as well as restructuring and recapitalization transactions.
  • Conduct financial valuations, including discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies analyses.
  • Prepare presentation materials and live deal documentation, such as offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses.
  • Analyze intricate corporate and financial data while performing due diligence.
  • Develop financial and three-statement operating models.
  • Carry out industry and product research.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Either (i) 1+ years of investment banking experience as an Analyst or (ii) 1+ years of relevant consulting, advisory, or healthcare industry experience.
  • Must be residing in New York or willing to relocate.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple transactions and projects concurrently.
  • Resourceful self-starter; capable of working independently.
  • Proven team player and leader.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Graduates from the class of 2024 or later are not eligible.
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000.
