Position Overview

Role Summary

Prospect Rock Partners is seeking a talented Analyst 2 to join our dynamic Healthcare Services and Technology M&A division. This role is integral to our team, focusing on delivering exceptional advisory services to clients in the healthcare sector.

The Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting senior bankers in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, as well as financing transactions across various segments within Healthcare Services and Technology. This position provides the opportunity for direct engagement with C-suite executives and board members, along with substantial responsibilities and pathways for career progression. Candidates with prior experience in healthcare investment banking at the Analyst level are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in client transactions, projects, or assignments as an Investment Banking Analyst.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal banking teams, and product specialists.
  • Assist in the creation of presentations and marketing materials (e.g., Confidential Information Memorandums, Management Presentations) for both current and prospective clients.
  • Conduct valuation analyses and develop financial models for clients and acquisition targets.
  • Analyze business plans, perform research, and evaluate financial statements.
  • Oversee and manage the due diligence process, including the preparation of virtual data rooms and addressing counterparty inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in investment banking, with a preference for healthcare-related transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, with a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, accompanied by a strong academic record.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and personable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
