Job Summary

The Consulting Dietitian is a key member of our healthcare team, providing expert nutrition care to patients on an as-needed basis. This role requires a strong understanding of nutrition principles and the ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff, and food and nutrition services staff to ensure optimal nutrition care and meal service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient nutrition assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Manage the development and implementation of nutrition intervention plans, ensuring compliance with Aramark standards and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure conformance to prescribed nutrition care orders and provide timely documentation of patient progress.
  • Deliver strong operational performance by executing against Aramark standards and regulatory agency requirements, monitoring operations, and completing assessments and action plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Requires at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in nutrition care.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with coursework accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies.
  • Earns and maintains applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements.
