Job Summary:

This position is responsible for reviewing, researching, and processing applications for initial credentialing and recredentialing. In an accurate and timely manner, this role will be responsible for completing all primary and secondary source verifications to support the credentialing and recredentialing of professional and/or institutional providers for multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize established policies and procedures to review and process credentialing applications.
  • Conduct thorough research and verifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Correspond with providers regarding missing information, supporting documentation, and/or application status updates.
  • Ensure processed applications meet internal quality review standards and performance expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of business experience, or a combination of college-level education and experience.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple processes and states.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of state regulatory requirements and accreditation standards for credentialing.

Work Schedule:

This role works a block schedule: 3 weeks at home, 1 week in office after training is complete.
