Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and administration of the API gateway solution within a corporate environment.
  • Guarantee high availability, performance, and scalability of the API infrastructure.
  • Deliver expert-level technical assistance to clients, addressing complex challenges related to API management and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve API consumption and integration across diverse applications.
  • Monitor and enhance API performance, identifying and resolving potential scalability and reliability challenges.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation and best practices for API management and support.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in API strategies and cloud operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, emphasizing API management, cloud operations, and customer support.
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing enterprise API gateway solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise API gateway solutions, preferably Kong, and their integration in cloud environments.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in API and cloud contexts.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration tools.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
